Satakunnan Kansa is the biggest daily newspaper and the second oldest Finnish newspaper still being published. The newspaper that currently belongs to the Alma Media Group was established in 1873.

We designed a newspaper stand as a business gift for this publication when it celebrated its 130th anniversary. Carpenter Marko Timonen used birch to hand-make a limited set of stands, the form of which was inspired by the veins of leaves.
